These are two-day hands-on workshops on location at the instructor's studio, that will teach gas welding, brazing and cutting as well as some exposure to electrical welding for steel. This class is not only for artists ... fishermen, builders and homeowners are all welcome. This is a practical skills class that can be applied to anything and for everyone. The class will emphasize basic safety training as well as the skills necessary to weld and cut everything from a tin can to heavy plate steel. There will be time for students, if they wish, to bring a small project to work on and assemble in class. This class is a prerequisite for all other future welded-metal sculpture classes.
